Was Q 1 again with 7.70 after running a breakout
time of 7.43 -289 km/t, during Saturdays qualifying.

On Sunday we ran a few more 7.70 and won the race.
The best quartermile track I ever raced on.

Next race is 21 - 23 June at Vandel in Denmark.

Update 18 - 20 May.

Our results from first race in the TSDS series at MECA Raceway.
Saturday we did a few more runs on motor only, just to make sure
everything was ok, before adding one of the two stages of nitrous.

Two runs on motor was 5.0 - 137 mph runs 60 ft was 1.12
which was enough to get us in the game Sunday, Q 6.

Now it was time to add some nitrous (one stage) so we changed the
converter to a nitrousready converter on Saturday evening / night.

First race we were up against Patrick Grahn in his Olds Siera GT.
Great run for us and new best ET for the Dodgeboys Team,
1.08 60 ft 4.74 - 147 mph got us in the semis.

In the semis we were up against Peter Lund in his Pontiac Firebird
and we were all fired up from the last run, but when I released
the transbrake, there were NO first gear. Thats Dragracing.

Still, it was a good week-end for new The Dodgeboys Team
Back to the shop to fix the tranny for the next race in the TSDS series
at MECA Raceway June 1-3.

Update 4 - 6 May.

Test & Tune MECA Raceway.

First time out with the Avenger.
First run down the track was just cruising, to see how the car runs.
The car felt really good. Drives like a Caddy. Very smooth and straight.
The next few runs we did some 60 ft times.
The car launched hard and straight.

Next it was time for a full 1/8 mile run and to test the 2 parachutes.
The time was 5.10 - 222 km/t 1,10 60 ft.
All runs was on motor only.
We learned a lot about electric shocks,
wheelibarsettings and stallspeed.
Found out that the motor was rich and wants more timing.
More testing will be done at the first points race.
